Jeneration runs a programme called the 'student life' series which is made up of workshops that are run during the course of years 12 and 13. We bring together experts, current students and you and your parents to make sure you have access to the best and most up to date information and advice on applications, finance, gap years and more.
On-Campus weekends- Dates TBC
These popular weekends are a great way to see what uni life is like. Hosted by reform students, we'll spend a weekend on a university campus- meeting students, discussing university life and having some fun as well! This year we're looking to expand to two weekends, running one at Cambridge and one at a Northern campus university.
Student Life Seminar- April 2013
60 people attended our first student life event aimed at giving year 12 students and their families a head start on the university application process. The seminar covered applications, finance, being Jewish on campus, antisemitism, gap years and choosing a course. (see here for a full report!)
Building on the success of last year's seminar, we'll be running a similar event for year 12s, whilst taking the event to the next level for year 13s with all the practical info you need to be ready for uni including budgeting, time management, navigating freshers week, being away from home and Jewish life on campus.
